What is this medicine?
SIROBOON (Sirolimus) is an immunosuppressant. It is used to prevent rejection of kidney transplants by suppressing the immune system. It may also be used to treat certain rare diseases such as lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). It works by inhibiting immune responses that lead to organ rejection or abnormal cell growth.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with or without food, but be consistent—always take it either with food or without food to keep blood levels stable. Swallow tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or split the tablets.
Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to stop.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take only the next scheduled dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
