What is this medicine?
CLOPIDRILL (Clopidogrel) is an antiplatelet medicine. It helps prevent blood clots by making blood platelets less likely to stick together. This medicine is used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, or other serious cardiovascular problems in people with a history of heart disease, recent stroke, or blood circulation disease. It may also be used after certain procedures like angioplasty or placement of a stent.

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. Take your doses at regular intervals, at the same time each day.
Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Do not stop taking it unless advised by your doctor, as doing so may increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
