What is this medicine?
ARTVIGIL (armodafinil) is a wakefulness-promoting agent. This medicine is used to treat excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and shift work sleep disorder (SWSD). It works by affecting certain substances in the brain that control the sleep-wake cycle, helping you stay awake during the day.

What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
