What is this medicine?
HEALPECIA 5 mg contains Finasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. This medicine is primarily used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)—an enlarged prostate—in men. It helps shrink the prostate, improve urinary flow, and reduce symptoms such as frequent or difficult urination. It may also lower the need for prostate surgery. It is not approved for use in women or children.
