What is this medicine?
ESZOPIRA (Eszopiclone) is a sedative-hypnotic used to treat insomnia (trouble falling asleep or staying asleep). It works by calming brain activity, helping you fall asleep faster and sleep through the night.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water right before bedtime. Only take it when you can get a full night of sleep (7–8 hours).
Avoid taking it after a heavy or high-fat meal, as it may delay its effectiveness.
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than directed.
Prolonged use without doctor supervision is not recommended due to the risk of dependence.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much, contact a poison control center or emergency room immediately.
What if I miss a dose?
If it’s still bedtime and you can get a full night’s sleep, take it then. If not, skip the dose.
Do not take double doses or use it during the day.
