MONTAHEAL (Montelukast 10 mg) is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. This medicine is used to prevent and manage asthma symptoms, including wheezing and shortness of breath. It is also used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion. Montelukast works by blocking substances in the body called leukotrienes that cause asthma and allergy symptoms.
