What is this medicine?
ROSUFREE (Rosuvastatin 5 mg) is a statin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor). This medicine is used to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides and raise good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It is prescribed to reduce the risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke, particularly in patients with high cholesterol or other risk factors like diabetes or hypertension.

What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
