They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • liver disease

  • kidney disease

  • muscle pain or weakness

How should I use this medicine?

What if I miss a dose?

What may interact with this medicine?

  • cyclosporine

  • warfarin and other blood thinners

  • bile acid sequestrants (e.g., cholestyramine, colesevelam) – take ezetimibe 2 hours before or 4 hours after

  • fenofibrate or other fibrates

  • statins (e.g., simvastatin, atorvastatin) – may increase risk of muscle-related side effects
