What is this medicine?
FEXOFENADINE is an antihistamine. This medicine is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as hay fever (sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy throat), or chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), including itching and rash. It does not cause significant drowsiness in most people.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

kidney disease

liver disease

heart disease
-
difficulty urinating
-
phenylketonuria (PKU) – check if the tablet contains aspartame
-
an unusual or allergic reaction to fexofenadine, other antihistamines, foods, dyes, or preservatives

pregnant or trying to get pregnant

breast-feeding
How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Do not take with fruit juices (like apple, orange, or grapefruit), as they may reduce absorption of the drug. Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
What may interact with this medicine?

What should I watch for while using this medicine?
This medicine usually does not cause drowsiness. However, in rare cases, it may still affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Until you know how this medicine affects you, do not engage in activities that require mental alertness.
Avoid taking antacids within 2 hours of taking fexofenadine, as they can reduce its effectiveness.
Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen.
