What is this medicine?
BINAFIDE 0.5 mg Respules contains Budesonide, which is a corticosteroid. This medicine is used by inhalation via nebulizer to treat asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other conditions involving inflammation of the airways. It works by reducing inflammation and swelling in the lungs, making it easier to breathe.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

active or untreated infections (especially tuberculosis, herpes simplex in the eye, or fungal infections)

liver disease

osteoporosis (bone thinning)

a weak immune system or recent exposure to contagious diseases like measles or chickenpox

How should I use this medicine?
Use this medicine by inhalation with a nebulizer. Do not swallow or inject this medicine. Follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist carefully.

Shake the respule well before use.

Use the medicine at the same time every day.

Do not mix with other nebulizer solutions unless advised.

Rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of oral thrush (fungal infection in the mouth).
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, use only that dose. Do not use double or extra doses.
What may interact with this medicine?

ketoconazole or itraconazole (antifungal medicines)

ritonavir or other HIV medicines

other corticosteroids taken orally or injected

other inhaled bronchodilators or steroids

What should I watch for while using this medicine?

Do not use this medicine to treat an acute asthma attack. Use a fast-acting “rescue” inhaler instead.

Inform your doctor if you experience worsening breathing symptoms.

Rinse your mouth with water after using the nebulizer to prevent oral thrush.

Regular checkups, including lung function tests, may be needed while using this medicine.

Monitor for signs of weakened immune system, especially in children, such as frequent infections.

Children using this medicine long-term should have growth monitored regularly.

Where should I keep my medicine?
