BIODIB 30 Tablet contains Dapagliflozin 10 mg + Teneligliptin 20 mg, which is a combination of two oral antidiabetic medicines.

  • Dapagliflozin is a SGLT2 inhibitor that helps the kidneys remove glucose from the bloodstream through urine.

What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • Type 1 diabetes

  • Diabetic ketoacidosis

  • Kidney disease or if you are on dialysis

  • Liver disease

  • Frequent urinary tract infections or yeast infections

  • Low blood pressure or dehydration

  • Heart disease or heart failure

  • Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas)

  • An unusual or allergic reaction to dapagliflozin, teneligliptin, other diabetes medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives

How should I use this medicine?

Take this medicine by mouth, with or without food, usually once daily, or as directed by your doctor. Take it at the same time each day.

Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room immediately.


What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take double or extra doses.


What may interact with this medicine?

  • Diuretics (water pills)

  • Insulin or other oral diabetes medicines

  • Blood pressure medications

  • Rifampicin (antibiotic)

  • Phenytoin, carbamazepine, or phenobarbital (anti-seizure drugs)

  • Symptoms of ketoacidosis (nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, confusion, trouble breathing)

  • Low blood sugar (sweating, shakiness, hunger, dizziness, confusion)

Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report if persistent or bothersome):

  • Increased urination

  • Back pain

  • Headache

  • Mild nausea

  • Joint pain
