It is used to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, while raising good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It helps reduce the risk of heat attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications, especially in individuals with high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, or a family history of heart disease.
