What is this medicine?
CAVERTA contains Sildenafil Citrate, a PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5) inhibitor. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping to achieve and maintain an erection.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a full glass of water. The typical dose is one tablet (usually 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg) taken about 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. Do not take more than one dose in a 24-hour period.
Avoid taking it with heavy or fatty meals, as it may delay its action. Avoid grapefruit products.
Overdosage: If you believe you have taken too much, contact emergency services or a poison control center immediately.

What if I miss a dose?
Caverta is used as needed before sexual activity, so missed doses are generally not applicable. Do not take extra doses to make up for a missed one.
