What is this medicine?
CLOMISIGN 50 mg contains Clomiphene Citrate, a medication used to stimulate ovulation in women who have difficulty becoming pregnant due to problems with ovulation (such as in polycystic ovary syndrome – PCOS). It belongs to a class of drugs called selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). It is not intended for long-term use or for use in patients with normal ovulation.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water as directed by your doctor, usually once daily for 5 days, starting on or about the 5th day of your menstrual cycle. Follow the exact schedule prescribed by your health care provider. Ovulation usually occurs 5 to 10 days after a course of clomiphene.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take double or extra doses.
What may interact with this medicine?

Stop taking and contact your doctor if you experience abdominal or pelvic pain, bloating, or rapid weight gain, which could signal ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
