What is this medicine?
IVERHUMAN (ivermectin) 6 mg is an antiparasitic agent. It is used to treat infections caused by certain parasites such as strongyloidiasis (intestinal worms), onchocerciasis (river blindness), and scabies. It may also be used for other parasitic infestations as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

Loa loa infection (African eye worm)

seizures or a history of seizures

weakened immune system

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a full glass of water on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and timing.

Do not take more than prescribed.

Do not stop taking the medicine unless advised by your healthcare provider.

Wash your hands before and after taking the medicine.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take only your next scheduled dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
What may interact with this medicine?
