What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • any active or recent infection, including tuberculosis

  • herpes infection of the eye

  • liver disease

  • high blood pressure

  • heart problems or recent heart attack

  • mental health conditions such as depression or psychosis

How should I use this medicine?

Take this medicine by mouth with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Take your doses at regular intervals, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without medical advice, especially if you have been on it for several days or longer.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room right away.
