What is this medicine?
LIPIDATOR 20 mg contains Atorvastatin, which is a statin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor). This medicine is used to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, and to raise good cholesterol (HDL). It is prescribed to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, or heart attack, especially in people with risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or a family history of heart disease.

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water, with or without food, once daily at the same time each day.
Take it exactly as prescribed. Do not take more than directed. Continue taking it even if you feel well.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much, contact a poison control center or emergency room right away.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
What may interact with this medicine?
