It helps restore the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain.


What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • kidney or liver disease

  • Parkinson’s disease

  • epilepsy or seizures

  • history of breast cancer

  • low white blood cell count

  • diabetes or risk factors for diabetes

  • heart disease, irregular heartbeat, or low potassium levels

  • alcohol or drug abuse history

  • prolactin-related disorders (e.g., pituitary tumors)

  • an unusual or allergic reaction to amisulpride or any other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives

  • pregnant or trying to get pregnant

  • breast-feeding


How should I use this medicine?

Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. It may be taken with or without food. Follow the dosing schedule provided by your doctor. Try to take it at the same time(s) each day.

Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine, as it may worsen your symptoms. Your doctor will gradually reduce the dose if needed.
