What is this medicine?
NIDDMOSE (Voglibose 50 mg) is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor. It is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus or NIDDM), especially when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to control blood sugar levels. It helps by slowing the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine, thereby preventing a rapid rise in blood glucose levels after meals.
