What is this medicine?
TEMOTERO (temozolomide) is an oral chemotherapy medicine. It is used to treat certain types of brain tumors such as glioblastoma multiforme and anaplastic astrocytoma. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually once a day. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal).
Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Do not stop taking this medicine unless instructed by your doctor.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take double or extra doses. Contact your healthcare provider if you miss a dose, especially during a chemotherapy cycle.
