It helps improve symptoms such as fatigue, low libido, muscle loss, mood changes, and poor bone density. It may also be used to treat delayed puberty in boys and, in some cases, certain breast cancers in women.

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • breast cancer (in males)

  • prostate cancer or enlarged prostate

  • heart or blood vessel disease

  • kidney or liver disease

  • high cholesterol or triglycerides

  • high calcium levels

  • sleep apnea

  • history of blood clots

  • swelling in legs or ankles

  • if you are bedridden or immobile for long periods

  • unusual or allergic reactions to testosterone, sesame oil (used as a base), other androgens, foods, dyes, or preservatives
