What is this medicine?
TRETINOIN (found in Tretiheal 0.1% Cream) is a topical form of vitamin A used to treat acne. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells, promoting cell turnover, and helping prevent the formation of pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. It is also sometimes used to improve the appearance of fine wrinkles, dark spots, and rough skin caused by sun damage.
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

Chronic skin conditions like rosacea or psoriasis

How should I use this medicine?
Use this medicine on the skin only, exactly as directed.

Wash your hands before and after applying.

Cleanse the affected area with a mild soap and allow the skin to dry 20–30 minutes before applying.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily at bedtime.

Avoid contact with eyes, nostrils, mouth, or broken skin.

Do not apply in larger amounts or more frequently than prescribed, as this can increase irritation without improving effectiveness.
Overdosage: This medicine is for external use only. If swallowed, contact a poison control center or emergency room immediately.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply double or extra doses.
What may interact with this medicine?

Products with benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, salicylic acid, or sulfur
