What is this medicine?
TRICLABEND 500 mg contains Triclabendazole, an anthelmintic (anti-worm) medicine. It is used to treat fascioliasis, an infection caused by liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica), which are parasites that affect the liver. It works by killing the parasites, allowing them to be removed from the body naturally.

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth with food, preferably a fatty meal to help absorption. Swallow the tablets with water. Take your doses exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than instructed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room right away.

What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
