What is this medicine?
TAMSULOSIN is an alpha-1 blocker. This medicine is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men, also known as an enlarged prostate. It helps to relax the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate and reducing symptoms such as difficulty starting urination, weak stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently.

How should I use this medicine?
Take this medicine by mouth, once daily, approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day.
Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
If you miss the dose for several days, contact your doctor before restarting, as your body may need to re-adjust.
Do not take double or extra doses.
